Music star and mother of one, Waje Iruobe has explained why she is still single.
In her explanation, Waje said, “I don`t know why, but I just feel God has a way of doing things. I have so much on my hands now. Let that matter rest for now. Let me not go and marry now before my husband will say he wants pounded yam, cooked by his wife, not by a maid. Then I will leave everything I am doing and I will be pounding yam. But when somebody who understands my kind of person and my job comes along, then it will be easier for me. After all, the troubles of the day, the traffic, somebody getting you angry, there should be that one person who can calm you. Everybody would love to have somebody as a companion, so do I.” she told NET in a recent chat.
On how she has been coping as a single mum, she said, “it is beautiful, something a lot of people won`t understand when I say it. They think I’m encouraging people to do it. It is beautiful, there are so many things that kid has done for me. I appreciate everything that God has given me.” she said.

24-year-old bags Ph.D in UNILAG !

A 24-year-old, Olaoluwa Oluwadara, has bagged a Ph.D degree in Mathematics at the just concluded 2012/2013 session convocation ceremony at the University of Lagos. Olaoluwa, who bagged his first and second degrees in  Mathematics and Physics  in 2007 and 2008 respectively from the Universite de Bangui in Central African Republic, graduated with a Cummulative Gross Point Average (CGPA) of 5.0 [first degree]. Olaoluwa’s feat supersedes that of Olabisi Adeyemi, a 26-year-old female who bagged a Ph.D with a CGPA of 4.98 in 2012 and Opeyemi Shodipe, 25 of Babcock University. 2015: Jonathan To Decide Whether To Run Soon

Following the release of the 2015 election timetable by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, President Goodluck Jonathan will soon hold a strategic meeting with his kitchen cabinet to decide on whether or not to run, his Special Adviser on Inter-Party Affairs, Senator Ben Obi, has said. However, the decision may not be taken until April because the Presidency may want to spend the next 90 days on effective governance to better the lot of the citizenry in line with the President’s promise of a better 2014 for Nigerians.
