These Sunglasses Will Text You If You Lose Them… Seriously

If you’re anything like us, you love a good accessory. If you’re also like us, you’re guilty of misplacing them … all the time. You might say things like “I can’t buy nice umbrellas” or “I’ve had 300 pairs of sunglasses.”
Well fear not, forgetful fashionistas! Eyewear company Tzukuri has designed something seriously revolutionary — sunglasses that will text you if you misplace them.
We know what you’re thinking and, yes, we’re also annoyed that we didn’t think of this idea first. But consider this: Gone are the days of hoarding cheap sunglasses at the bottom of your purse. These bad boys are virtually un-loseable.
The glasses contain Bluetooth technology which connects your phone to them. By simply turning on Bluetooth and downloading the corresponding app, you’re connected. Plus, you’ll start to get notifications at various points once you leave them, starting from 16 feet. If that doesn’t seem easy enough for you and you STILL manage to lose the glasses, you can locate them on a map in the app. Genius, no?
However, get ready to shell out some cash if you want ‘em. These puppies run $350 a pair. But, when you think about how many times you’ve replaced a $10 pair, these are kind of a worthy investment, right? Oh, and before you start visualizing yourself in Google Glass-esque sunnies, they are super cute, too.

24-year-old bags Ph.D in UNILAG !

A 24-year-old, Olaoluwa Oluwadara, has bagged a Ph.D degree in Mathematics at the just concluded 2012/2013 session convocation ceremony at the University of Lagos. Olaoluwa, who bagged his first and second degrees in  Mathematics and Physics  in 2007 and 2008 respectively from the Universite de Bangui in Central African Republic, graduated with a Cummulative Gross Point Average (CGPA) of 5.0 [first degree]. Olaoluwa’s feat supersedes that of Olabisi Adeyemi, a 26-year-old female who bagged a Ph.D with a CGPA of 4.98 in 2012 and Opeyemi Shodipe, 25 of Babcock University. 2015: Jonathan To Decide Whether To Run Soon

Following the release of the 2015 election timetable by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, President Goodluck Jonathan will soon hold a strategic meeting with his kitchen cabinet to decide on whether or not to run, his Special Adviser on Inter-Party Affairs, Senator Ben Obi, has said. However, the decision may not be taken until April because the Presidency may want to spend the next 90 days on effective governance to better the lot of the citizenry in line with the President’s promise of a better 2014 for Nigerians.
